For our pitch feedback, the response was overall positive
because many of my peers liked the mock up however there are some things that
needs to be improved for example our headline was not bold enough for the
audience to see and understand what is typed therefore that needs to be
improved yet keeping the simplicity of it. The picture used for the mock up was
from location shot from our music video however we felt like it would be more
professional in using a studio shoot rather than a location shot as we asked
the audience how they felt about that and they agreed with it.

Written audience feedback
Our groups audience feedback didn't receive any negative comments so overall it was quite well i assume, however we were asked about our location because in our pitch it was quite vague and we explained it some more in detail. Also we was asked about our actors and if we secured them definitely for our music video which we have and also explained to the class that we are incorporating a dance routine with the actors also. Our target audience wasnt mentioned but as our class was full of 17 to 18 year olds, we felt that it appealed to them quite positively, however the age isnt restricted between the two numbers mentioned.

DSLR CAMERA INDUCTION
Today, we had an induction of how to use the DSLR cameras again as most of us forgot how to use it from last year and Tom gave every group a camera and demonstrated at the front on the class. He explained the three main information that we needed to know so far which was the ISO, SHUTTER and APERTURE. He explained each feature in detail and showed us how to get the features for example the shutter was a tiny wheel at the side of the camera and the ISO which allowed us to focus or use depth of field on whatever the cameras on. Aperture was i think allowed us to change the setting of the camera eg more lighting or less lightening.

practise lip sync evaluation
My groups practise music video was lil uzi ert XO tour life, as I came to the group late, I wasn’t there to make the decision of which song to choose however I knew the song so I was fine with it. By practising on this video, made me realise how much work goes into a music video and the amount of time that goes into editing and the importance of lip syncing.
One of the good actions my group did is that we had a variety of shots like mid close up, close up, long shot and establishing shot, despite having a variation of shots it was difficult to keep the camera still and it was also difficult to edit over the music to match our lip sync because our lips were either to fast or not accentuating our words to the extent that it needs to be not only that one member in our group wasn’t familiar with the song which made an extra downfall for the visuals of the video and the lip sync. Also, the mise en scene wasn’t adventurous or unique because we used the fields in college to shoot the video which many of our classmates used. In addition, I know how to improve when I shoot my final music video.
Although there was no plan on how we were going to shoot the video and where was going to shoot, it was very unorganised as we were stuck on where the best area was to get the best shots so we spent most our time figuring out where our next shot should take place. Our footage came out very shaky this was because we didn’t use a tripod which made us realise how unexperienced our footage when its used manually by hand. Despite this our teamwork was very well executed as each member knew their role and contributed to the editing and the shooting of the music video
To conclude, our first attempt wasn’t completely all bad in terms of the shots we took however you can notice that the shots are very shaky and our edits were nowhere near related to the lyrics of the song so it looked weird and out of the ordinary. However, I have learnt how to better my skills when it comes to my final music video.
